Radio Telemetry Studies In September of 2005 RTA, in conjunction with other consultants, initiated a multi-year brown trout movement study in Rush Creek , the largest tributary to Mono Lake . The study has two primary objectives:
To meet project objectives, radio tracking of tagged fish required using both a fixed receiving station and a manual receiver. The project utilized Lotek Wireless equipment, including three sizes of radio tags which were surgically implanted in selected brown trout. RTA is fully trained and experienced in the following aspects of implementing a radio telemetry study:
